Durango 210 or c4.1

Well still have my factory team b4 an was thinking of jumping on the wagon with all the others getting the c4.1 but after all the hype not to keen an for the money and botching you have to do to get it right is a joke?? So I have been looking at the 210 and was wondering people's thoughts on it? Also if I run the mid motor setup can I use my normal stick pack because someone said to me I would have to use stubbys

The Durango wins hands down, you get all the castor and toe in blocks in the kit ready to go,so really no hop ups to buy in ways of set up,also if you want to go rear motor you can

normal size batteries will fit whether RM or MM and even with a standard size servo

Durango gets my vote

210 is a great car, reasonable price and very tuneable out of the box. The only things i would pick up if you do decide to jump to durango are:

Full spring kit
Carbide diff balls - only about £12 but will make your diff smooth as
Sprung steel circlips - these are use to hold parts of the diff in place and in my opinion the kit ones arent the best

Hope this helps

Also Carbon shock towers as a lot of people have had issues with the standard kit ones, and you can always go geared diff with the 2wd SC10 or there are others that fit in!

Fozzy is spot on. I had a good deal of trouble with the kit circlips and heard some guys from the states were using the xray sprung steel ones and that sorted the problem with my diff right away. Other than ceramic diff balls that is all you really need to get going and be competitive.

No problem buddy,

MB Models are who i use http://www.rccarshop.co.uk
They stock all your Durango parts and may even have the xray circlips.

TD230027 Front Springs
TD230028 Rear Springs
XR966080 Xray Circlips

Most people have been using either buds balls or the ones from the lads at rclazy. Im looking at ordering the offerings from rudebits. Any of those and you wont go wrong.

Hope that helps
