Gear diff
HI
Anyone know if kyosho will do a gear diff as they seem to be for nearly every car out there? Dont mind a ball diff but ?? |
For the FS2 ?
They got one for the TF6 and RB5 already. Too bad it did not fit the Vega gearbox :bored: |
Do you know if anyone tried any other makes or was it just too big the gear diff ?
|
The gear diff is too wide, the gearbox was design around the ball diff.

I read somewhere here that there was someone who planted a Druango Gear diff in the rear of a FS2. I also remember saying Roger M there is no need for a Gear because the ball diff lasts like forever when built properly with ceramic balls and of course if shimmed correct. I would love to try it out though, have just bought the OT-5 Outdrives and put the durango diff in the FS2 when i built it from new. It seems a little narrow for the FS2 gearbox but i think it can be shimmed. For now i decided to first run the FS2 with the normal diff and see how long it lasts with the way i built it.
If i ruin it within a few runs i surely will try this out but i think it could last a while. Sadly the weather here in Austria doesn´t allow a test drive within the next days... |
Thats a Problem! I know, fpor the ZX5 you can run the Durangos! you have to make 1 Part new! Than it is ok
