TC6 gearing FDR? 13.5t no boost
 

hi all,

What sort of gearing should i be running in my tc6 with a tekin 13.5 motor running no boost. This is for reasonable size indoor carpet track. Also what FDR should i be looking for.

Some pointers for setups for low/med traction carpet setup would be good too :thumbsup:

At a guess 4.5-5 but check temperature of motor after 1 minuet and then after 5 was the advice I was given

5.0 would be an okay starting point, but do check the temperature after a couple of minutes.

For a setup, try one of Ollys Ardent setups:

The TC6 is very versatile; if you put one of those setups on it'll work pretty much everywhere.

At newbury we ran between 5.1 and 5.8 when it was non turbo, and between 7 and 8 with boosted esc

thanks again. i will be trying out my xray this friday. i am going to be running 80-26. that will give me a FDR of 5.23. that sounds about right compared to your settings. :)
