B4.1 hub carrier
 
How do I dismantle the rear hub carrier I have had a kwick look but nothin yet tried to get the pin out that locks the wheel in place but no joy? It is really tight any tips:confused::confused:

Piece of cake to get out. Just get yourself a big pair of pliers( i use pipe grips as they adjustable).
Grip one side on the axle shaft and other on the pin and squeese. Once it flush with the shaft on one side, then just lever it out with the bit that sticks out. To get them back in ,just line up the pin and squeese the grips agin til in central. Job done:thumbsup:

Dead easy to do. Just get a big pair of pliers(I use pipegrips as they adjustable). Line up one side with the pin and other on the shaft and squeeze. Once pin is flush with shaft, just prise it out. Job done:thumbsup:

Right got them dismantled and have got the blue ft version from dms but the inside bearing is to small on the pack it says b44?? When they arrived just presumed they fitted both the b4/b44 or am I doing somthing wrong??

Your original hubs are the old type! Newer ones require a larger outer bearing..
