Just got a SC10 to play with & was wondering what gear diff oils you were all using? i have the 2wd version
This is my first go with a gear diff so want to get it right :D
Also any worthwhile upgrades needed?

It's very much down to personal preference!! So you'll get all sorts of answers, the best thing to do is try some different weight fluids!

I've tried black grease all the way up to 50,000 weight oil...Right now it's got 7000 in.

As for hop ups, FT front hinge pin brace is about it, you may want to try some different springs as well but other than that the truck is good to go.

I use black grease, low maintenance and doesn't leak out.
Ghea front bulkhead and brace.
Alloy arms from eBay if you break them.
Harder springs.
Good tyres.
Sorted.

Another thing, if you run on a high grip track and need to get your ride height down you may need to resort to cutting your springs but make sure you can still get full shock travel with a shorter spring. Don't cut to much off!!
