mini-inferno v RC18T

I'm just wondering whether I made the right choice buying a mini inferno 2nd hand and whether I should sell it on and get a 2nd hand RC18T.

I can't commit much money to running a micro so both cars would be pretty much standard.

What's everyone's thoughts on the two cars as they seem to be about the same price?

Outta the two I'd buy a FTX Blaze ST, every time, do it , you won't regret it, ever ever ever ..................:)

BTW there's an ACE micro club just down the road from you at Caerwent

Yup out of the inferno & rc18 it has to be the FTX Blaze ST/LRP Shark ST:thumbsup:

have to agree Pete, you'll end up spending a fortune on em in the long run. Of the 2 the rc18 is probably the easiest to make a half decent car out of.

A blaze would be a better bet tho

On that basis, does anyone want to buy a mini inferno or swap for a blaze? ;)

I think I'll have to run the mini inferno til I've saved up some more for a blaze, unless anyone has one going reeeediculously cheap!:woot:

:drool::drool:

This is trickier than I thought! Need to start new topic for what needs spending on a Blaze.
I only want it as a fun thing at club when not running 1/10th!

I'm listening ;)
my wallet is hiding behind the sofa though

blaze... you need steel driveshafts all round, and from what I understand, at least a ball diff in the rear, the rest is tuning.

evilbert 09-03-2008 09:16 PM

you also need the pbs front end or alloy front knuckles. and although you dont need them alloy shocks are a great investment

If I was you i'd run the RC18 seems pretty good straight out the box although the steering upgrade would help. I believe the blaze / st is possibly the better of the two however, does require more upgrades straight off which can bump the price up quite a bit. You can always upgrade to the blaze if 18th turns out to be your thing ! There's only 1 RC18 at the club i believe with most others being the Blaze / ST.
