personal transponders

Hi, myself and Muzzie have entered a race which requires us to use PT's.

Looking at the website if we can get an order together we can get a discount on the price.

would any of you be interested in ordering one with us?

It's getting very common that clubs are withdrawing their handouts as the batteries bugger up and it's very expensive to replace them. our Mansfield transponders are not getting any younger and at some point we'll have to decide whether to replace or go down the PT route.

If anyone is interested come and see us on Wednesday

And if anyone else from another club is reading this you are welcome to come in with us, i've got good feedback on here

Any idea on how much we'll be looking at john

john333 29-12-2011 06:39 PM

I think it would be just under £40 if we can order 10 or more. About 44 if its 5 or more.

Ive got an mrt clone pt if its any use to anyone. Its a spare that i intended to use when running 2 classes but so far have only done this once.
£30 next time im at mansfield if anyone is interested.
(it isnt cloned to my number by the way so wont cause any disruption in this area)

Michael

It would be the mrt at that price.

john333 29-12-2011 09:55 PM

yes it is the MRT we are looking at, and bring that spare with you mate, we may have to toss a coin for it though!

Timee80 29-12-2011 09:59 PM

I'll have it with me next Wednesday just in case then mate. Anyone is free to use it on the night to verify it works.

Sound like we're all interested in your spare pt

LucasZ 30-12-2011 10:41 AM

I would be intetested too
Please count me in John.
Thank you!
Hopefully we will get 10 ppl. £40 sounds like a good deal

Muzzie 30-12-2011 01:06 PM

Yep if we get 10 or more people it will be a good deal. I'm defo up for it

john333 30-12-2011 09:29 PM

sorry, I have read the advert wrong (and so did you Muzzie! lol) it's £49.50 each INC vat, I was reading the no vat price. So if we buy 10 or more it will be 10% discount off that (£44.55?) sorry for the confusion.

It's not a cheap thing to buy but as I've said it's only a matter of time till we will all need to have one, and it's SO much easier when you've got one in the car.

Muzzie 31-12-2011 11:14 AM

Yep your right John:blush: however on the order form it only charges £1.50 VAT:eh?: I'll send them an e.mail to check. Also I'll ask if they fancy dropping the price for oople member. Always worth an ask:thumbsup:

john333 31-12-2011 05:09 PM
