X2C / Mad Monkey parts

Just posting for a bit of advice. A lot of the parts betwen the X2C and Mad Monkey look identical yet they have different part numbers.

Is there any difference between the two? Eg. Cheaper plastic.

For example the front shock stay for the X2c is 125000418 and the monkey is 125000502. Same goes for suspension arms and quite a few other parts.

Thanks for your help, dom. :)

I think the x2c parts are made of better stuff:confused:.I did buy some x2c outdrives for my madmonkey, they were about 20 quid, thats about a quater of the price of a madmonkey kit:lol: but have been told they last a lot longer than the monkey ones,so must be made of better stuff!

From experience the X2C parts will have a higher carbon content in the plastic. I've built a number of Rats, Monkeys, XPros and X2Cs and the plastics in the more expensive cars seems much harder to drive a screw into.
