Recommended tyres

what tyres do u recommend for a cougar sv for your club ?

During the winter it's either going to be Schumacher mini spike silvers or greens. Ballsitic Buggy spikes work also but as our Winter series is a schumacher control tyre most people run schumachers.

Schumacher mini spike silver on the rear, and green front seemed to be a popular combination at the last round of the winter series.

Cheers

What tyres do you recommend for the summer ?

What inserts are required for winter & summer ?

Thanks

Schumacher yellow mini spikes on the rear and staggers on the front would be the best place to start.

For inserts, the Answer RC Medium (blue) would be a popular choice. No inserts are required on the normal staggers though.

The Schumacher Cougar medium wheels are designed for the m/spike and pin tyres the narrow wheels are designed for the stagger ribs, (non cut, older version). Whith the latest stgger rib tyre, (which comes pre cut) I personally would use the medium wheel and a hard insert, (answer rc black). You do not need to use an insert whith the older type stagger rib.
On the rear I use answer RC blue inserts. All the for mentioned can be purchased from Inside Line Racing, Kev is a very helpful chap and will certainly point you in the right direction.

Sorry if that is anyway confusing, but hope it helps.
