Is the BRCA going to organise a booking / maybe discount? Whatevers nice, affordable and close to the track and other 'good stuff' - never been to the track and indeed never been to italy, so I've no idea :(

Lee 07-03-2008 12:04 PM

Jimmy, I think we just book in via the hosting clubs website, thats what PW email said anyway.

vader 07-03-2008 12:27 PM

Any strip clubs nearby for Lee?

jimmy 07-03-2008 12:29 PM

he did? did I miss that one? actually, since I was a norty boy and put in a late entry I might not get any emails haha.

Any linkies to this website with links?

Copy of the email Jimmy:

Dear All,

The organising team in Italy have now finalised some more details.

If you visit their website www.afmodels.com you can find details for:-

Booking an entry for the Warm-Up race in June.
Pre-ordering tyres for the Warm-Up and/or the actual European Championship.
Book hotels for either the Warm-Up or the European Championship.

The guys in Italy operate their own system for reserving Hotel rooms.
Instead of me having all the hassle of a 'Group Booking', you individually reserve your room by using the details and booking form on their website.
They have operated this system the last three times that I have visited them without any problems.

You will notice that there are two Hotels nominated. On past visits we have all used the HIP hotel. I will make some enquiries about the Gallia hotel and mail you the details soon.

Wraggy 07-03-2008 12:50 PM

so we all need to decide which one to stay at then ??

Hotel Gallia is the cheaper one of the 2 but no one has stayed there by the sounds of it .
might need a vote ??

spenner 07-03-2008 01:53 PM

It needs it's own bar or one very close... has to have open front so us brit's can sit out side and rate the females with the marshall point numbers!!!!

Also no dodgy blacked out windowed clubs with uncle festa on the door in the vacinity....

So which one then... I suppose we could book in each one for 1 night when we go to the warm up... that is leaving it a bit tight though.

anyone found a link to a page about the HIP hotel?

MattW 07-03-2008 06:38 PM

The HIP is for want of a better word, situated in a truck stop on the side of a main road!! I thought it was ok as hotels go, has a bar and restaurant, but not much else.

hmmm, the HIP looks to be about 4 times further from the track - any idea how far this is in travel time? anyone been before?

Cruise 08-03-2008 08:55 PM

The time to track between the Gallia and the Hip Hotel are almost equal.
The Gallia has the better breakfast.

Cruise.
