1/12th is a cheaper option at least for having a car ready to run than a fully spec'd mardave now. :0

see what you mean ;)

VRXce £90
Alloy Motor Pod £43
Carbon Chassis Kit £30

= £163

But a Mardave is more robust and cheaper to repair?

Agree with Karl 12th tyres are a lot more money than madaves, plus shells are cheaper and spares

New Alloy rear pod

Hi Guys,

Just got these over the last week, once these was built up and installed into the car found that the rear axle would not turn  we had to take off some of the Alloy on the pod just on the inside where the ride height inserts go!!! As the width of the whole assebelly seem just a tad to wide, Also had to shave off some of metal on the motor mounting holes as well  as you cant seem to adjust the motor the get the correct mesh as the screws seems to bind when tightening them up!!

Any one else had issues????

Dan.

Team Mardave Hi All Just noticed a little issue,, As we made the Z drive part to take out slop in rear axle this makes the new pod spacing about 1mm to wide.. So easy fix is to reduce overall lengh of Alloy Z Drive or plastic drive by 1.5 mm... Sorry Guy's If any problem doing this drop me a e-mail and i will sort Chris
