Futaba 3vc repairs

Hello,

Does anyone know if my Futaba 3vc can be repaired in the UK?

All I have done is plugged a fully charged battery and the radio stopped working.

Cheers

Yes, send it to the address on the Ripmax website (in Enfield) and they can deal with Futaba repairs. I've always found them very good, although it does take a while. I returned a servo this year that had failed in the car, they sent it back in a week or so with a note to say they couldn't replicate the fault and it was working - which it was!

No charge, not even for the postage and, sure enough, it works just fine. HTH :)

I spoke to a Ripmax Futaba engineer on the phone today and he tells me the fault has been caused by my Spektrum module shorting out and damaging the power connections in my 3vc (a known fault).

I'm please it can be repaired.
