What pinion size?!?!?
 
hi guys i am currently running a Asssociated rc8.2e and i have a 46t spur gear and a stock hong nor scrt 16t pinion gear.
Its not very fast,well quite fast but not AS fast.
But i'll get longer run times.

What do you recomment?

Motor is a castle creations 2200kv motor (mmm) on 4s

But it will rev harder and make the car spool up faster, your problem maybe is that it may be to highly geared and it ain't getting up to speed quick enough,usually as a general setup the car has to be at top speed at 3/4 down the main straight....

15t will accelerate "slightly" faster and "slightly" reduce top speed. but if geared right will run cooler

and if its cooler it 'slightly' increases the run time :)
