Whats everyone running electrics (esc+motor) in the 4WD @ Torch ?? Just trying to gauge what sort of setup is worthwhile :thumbsup:

HobbyWing 120amp V2.1 speedo with the latest stock firmware and a very cheap Inix 6.5t motor. Very quick and very smooth, but I think I'll be upgrading to an Orion motor after Christmas...

you cant go wrong for the money with a Hobbywing 120A over a speed passion Pro as its the same ESC with a different sticker on the casing......:thumbsup:

Then you just run whoever has the latest and best software as they are fully compatible with each other

Don't forget to order a programming box as well, it doesn't come with one. The pro box is the one to go for so you can upgrade the firmware via USB. If you want a look at one, grab me tomorrow.

Cheers guys, got a basix programmer already but ordered a pro one too so i can update this and my 60amp HW setup in my 2WD :thumbsup:

Orion R10 7.5 Orion VST pro over winter and 6.5 for spring on wards

Orion LIPOs too :)

Would be SP kit if i wasn't using the above.

Need to get a SP GT2 and a HW 120A and open them up to settle that one I think. HW are the OEM manufacturer.
