x11 indoor setup for twisty track
i'm looking for a setup where i could generate more steering on my x1108. anyone got a good setup i can try?

Hi, I ran my X11 for the first time today at Taplow carpet indoor track.
I ran the high grip set up from the back of the manual and it worked a treet had to cut the outside row of spikes off the outer edge of sch yellow mini pins. But handled really well good balance. |
There are a couple of things you can try to gain steering.
1. increasing the front tow out 2. Decreasing the caster angle (this is highly sensitive adjustment, be carefull not to over do this) 3. To gain traction in the front, you can try and reduce the traction on the rear, for example less rear tow in, stiffer rear springs/heavier dumping, install a rear roll bar if you don't have one yet. Hope this helps Itsik |
hi Alan,
you can try with some weight under the front shock...and the mod for use a short pushrod. cheers Max |
