BRCA & CLUB Membership Renewal
 

Racers,

In 2012 we need to strictly follow the BRCA rules with regard to racers and people racing.

If you have completed 3 race meetings with us you WILL need to join up to the BRCA. This is due to the fact that SHRCCC is BRCA affiliated and thus we hold our Public Liability Insurance with them. No BRCA, no racing from January 2012 Not only does this protect the club from any potential issues it will also protect yourselves wherever you race and any incidents that may occur.

If you had BRCA membership in 2011 you will need to apply again and get a BRCA number. You will need this number to be logged whenever you race at SHRCCC.

Also, I know some of you will be doing some BRCA events in 2012, this will be required to enter those regional’s.

SHRCCC Own membership renewals have been set for end of March 2012.

Is the memebership annual ie renew every January for that year?

Only i only joined mid summer so didnt know if the member ship runs a full year from joining or just jan - dec?:confused:

It's a yearly thing mate, so due Jan :thumbdown:

£16 direct from the BRCA or £14 through a club if they offer it (which most clubs do).

A renewal is only about 12quid i think its only more to join first time round

have you managed to find my BRCA card and no' from this year yet? -I'd like to use that for the renewal if possible...

No worries Mate, didn't 'need' it this year anyhow! I apprecaite the renewal offer... Let me know if you need any address details etc but they are all still the same for my SHRCCC membership...

Neil, I'll need to get a brca membership. I've never had one so no number to renew. Let me know what you need from me and I'll bring it on Thursday.

Dudders, my BRCA is currently being renewed via Herts Nitro - dont know if I will have my card etc by thursday.
I guess I can still race - just make sure you dont build any big jumps so i cant injure any one! :D

Guys, as per the above in the first post. Renewals are due from April 1st 2012. Those who have joined over the winter time / recently you all have your own agreement as we have discussed.

Form's will be trackside on the 27th and 29th for the practice nights, and also at every meeting.

Seeing we are racing three times a week from April, you'll save a fair few £££'s over the year.

There is no discount on renewals only on joining as an affiliated Club member which Mikey says is £14 or £16 pounds if you join direct yourself!
