210 Front axles

Hi
Does anyone have a spare set of front axles or know a shop that has them in stock ???:(
I cant find them anywhere, i have done a temp repair by fitting B4 hubs and axles but i havent tried it yet so dont know if it will work.
Seems to have a lot of bump steer.
Has anyone else broken one and found another fix??
Thanks
Ivan

Is there nobody ho can made these axles into the good size to use B4 weels, and use some hardened steel material !
The person who makes these axles will sell a lot !

There's a shop in Germany:

http://modellbau-langenfeld.de/shop/...9%26aid%3D1%26

Those axles are made of aluminum not steel, but the quality is really good. I've been running them for quite some time know.

are these also a little shorter??
because i modified mine original axles. but if i fit b4 wheels my car is 25.4 cm wight on the front and it may not be more the 25 :D

I haven't measured them, tbh.

I have been meaning to lathe some up at work from steel when I got the chance, was only going to do a few sets for my self and one other oople user who pm'd me, if there is demand for them I could do a larger batch.

are these for b4 wheels then?

neil_p 12-12-2011 08:16 PM

Yeah for B4 wheels. I have a load in normal and narrow (which of course Durango dont do) width, and as Im still running the B4 it makes sense to do a different axel rather than modify the B4 wheels to fit the Durango bearings/axel. I will be doing them from steel as the B4, depends what we have lying around but hopefully will have some chromoly to use.

Put me down for a set please.

Do you have these steel front axles already in stock to fit the B4 wheels ?
So I can order these from you !

Hi everyone, just to let you all know that I have not been able to make up a set yet, just the drawings for now, will have to wait after the new year before I get a set to test.

Due to the different off-set on the B4 to the 210, I have accommodated this in the axel so the track will be the correct width.

I will have to wait and see if manufacturing the axels is worth my time to sell, obviously people will not pay a lot of money for these and I would not want to supply a low quality product. Let me make 1 set first to test then I will let every one know.

I can provide the measurements so if you want to go to a fabricator and get them done by yourself I can do that, but after the new year.

Cheers, Neil
