nice one
i find this interesting lol

"ORRC - Driving a rear motor buggy in 2wd, and still being highly successful, do you feel a Tamiya mid-motor would make you even quicker on British high grip tracks?

Lee - Of course! I think that's a given. I have been almost 'handicapped' on UK tracks for the past 2 years, so I think it's time we evened the score ;) "

a trf201 mid-motor in the work??????
i hope so.

styleone 03-12-2011 01:22 AM

well spotted

I guess they couldn't go forever without stepping up really...but lets not forget, Lee drives rear motor against many mid-motor cars and still wins...if he doesn't win he is fast as hell still

guinness 03-12-2011 02:24 AM

well ,if only Lee could tell us more

MHeadling 03-12-2011 07:39 PM

Vega 201??.............:wub:thumbsup:

guinness 03-12-2011 07:54 PM

I'm sorry but if anyone is using a Vega conversion they are not driving a tamy car anymore.and I honestly think it look ugly. I prefer wait the proper kit from tamy.

Fredrik Emilsson 05-12-2011 10:31 AM

Donīt think he is allowed to use a conversion kit, only option parts.

Think he will make sure that Tamiya do the right thing.
Tamiya are lucky to have him, in many ways.

Lets hope they pay him good and give him the right tools.

guinness: The TRF201 was released ~1,5 years ago.

colmo 05-12-2011 11:40 AM

I have an image of a 201 with a TA06 rear gearbox bolted to the back....
