Racing at York 3rd Dec. 2wd/540 Champ night.
 

This Saturday is round 3 of the 2wd/540 Championship. Doors open 1745.
Other classes will be run.
There is a date change on the club calendar. The 4wd round 3 is now going to be held on the 10th December instead of 17th. The 10th was originally the
BRCA Winter Championship but this is now in February.

As a non member I know I wont be able to gain any points. Am I still able to race in the 540 class this week? I have only done 1 race session so far and that was last week on a non championship week.

Yes.
You can race 3 times without BRCA membership, or as many times as you like with bRCA and without club membership.
Mike does count! Membership forms for both club and BRCA are at race control.

Didnt realise that you could only race 3 times without BRCA membership... must send a very shouty email at the tools who deal with the BRCA Membership and get my details sent out...

Will bring wedge for membership and a completed form with me on Saturday Mike...

I "think" the cost is £23 for both BRCA and club. Cheques are accepted, credit cards are not, cash is lovely:thumbsup:

Maybe a little respect and patience is needed. The brca is run by volunteers who give up there time to help clubs and racers. The membership secretary has just changed person so that will take time to sort out. Also it's the time of year when all clubs and racers are renewing brca insurance so again they will have plenty of work to do.

We as a club will accept BRCA membership as granted from when we're paid for it though.

I have respect and patience, but when i paid for the membership and its now affecting my ability to race on a weekend, its become a problem.

Besides, i think 3 weeks is long enough for it to be processed and my details to be sent to me, even if it is being run by volunteers.

It's not affecting your ability to race, Mike's happy once you've paid, your card will come through in good time.
