DEX410Rv3

Invisible/hidden link from TD website .... price point is reasonable, no stock as yet

captainlip 29-11-2011 11:46 AM

Big G 29-11-2011 11:49 AM

I don't think that the R version is a rip off.

I am of the opinion that it is a entry level car, or ideal for someone who wants to do a v2 full fat to v3 upgrade. I'm sure you will see a fair few on the track.

captainlip 29-11-2011 11:57 AM

Im right though, the V3 is only £70 more

for that you get -

big bores £100
carbon towers and brace £60
alloy hubs £30
hd cups £10
alloy hinge pin brackets £50
rear diff holder £28

thats all I can think off top of my head.

you would be insane and rather stupid to buy the R

I bet loads of people do.

Carlos69 29-11-2011 12:04 PM

So much for the scoop , ok yesterday's news... but I re-state it's reasonable value..... compared to most of the top brands and pedigree
So now that the 2010 is discontinued my 2009 must be on its way to being a classic :D
... but I'd never bother arguing with an idiot ... chances are they've had a lot more practice :woot:

HD cups are included in the R you mong
The big bores on the v3 don't have the alloy adjusters so you can deduce £10 from the price of those.
Small bores are priced at £100 also

IceMike 29-11-2011 12:15 PM

Im with G here, the car is good value for what you get. dont forget that for the likes of tamiya or Ae your paying alot more for same sort of spec, you dont get big bores on other brands, and Ae apart from the carbon is all plastic

Big G 29-11-2011 12:17 PM

with the R you get bigger bearings in the rear hubs haha

No offense, but did you just skim the page, because it is a fairly big image/section that clearly states that the HD cups are included on the car

The rear diff holders are not included in the V3 as far as i know.

It's not a 'rip off' at all - its great value - it's just the DEX410 V3 is even better value.

The spec you've stated isn't accurate tho anyway lip.

I know I was just reeling off what I thought it had :blush:

anyways IMO your daft to buy an R. if you do.

5im0n 29-11-2011 04:43 PM

Plus there's the Anti roll bar kits....30 quid a pop to name a couple more.

captainlip 29-11-2011 07:52 PM

Lip, can you keep this on topic please and stop talking about other cars that have nothing to do with this subject or this forum. This 'trolling' is not acceptable - please say your car is the best in its own forum, or start a 'my car is the best' thread in the general section (I can't believe that will last long!)

All i will say lip is the last R was a great value car and the new one is 20% cheaper and a better car than the last! Thats the point end off and for that Durango have done a great job! Go and find me a car on the web thats has the spec and quality of this car for this price!

jkclifford 29-11-2011 08:47 PM

can you get wheels for it yet?
