Tyre Suggestions

What tyres are suggested for Astro/Grass/Loose dirt?

Would similar to the LRPs posted yesterday be ideal tyre, I know AKA, Proline are popular but whats the "standard"? like minipins and spikes are standard for carpet and astro.

Im looking for a longer lasting tyre as LRP advertised but will be using a harder compound for less wear.

Cheers for any advice chaps!

Hobao Angle spikes for wet astro, for the dry most use heavily modified minipins, dirt is more down to personal preference, see what people are running at your local track...

Only raced Rally X on grass onces, started on Angles then moved to LRP Kamikazes once the track became worn (also a nice dirt tyre), they seemed to work ok...

Wet Astro - HoBao Angle Spikes, std insert
Dry Astro - dBoots TerraByte, same insert as Hobao Angles (a 'foam' - not a moulded insert)
Dry Astro - Schumacher Mini-Pin - Crazy grip, will be faster than dBoots but much harder to drive

Dirt - MILLIONS of options on tyres, unlike 10th scale, there is no dominant tire tread and compound.

I use AKA Impacts as my 'default' tire for any track I go to.. 'soft' compound pre-mounted from AKA with the AKA 'red' insert.
