Nosram Matrix - Motor Limit
 

Hello all!

I plan to run my nosram matrix (original, pre 2007 spec) with a 6.5L motor tomorrow night in a B4, indoors.

The speedo has a 5.5t limit on it, according to the box / instructions.

Has motor technology moved on since these documents were printed? Would it handle a 6.5 ok?

Does anyone use the original matrix? what motors do they handle?

Well in theory you should be able to go as low as a 5.5 brushlss motor. And anything above, that but nothing below it, so a 6.5L should be alright. But i would get other people's opinions first.:)

Go for it chris and if it does blow up just send it back as you are running 6.5 motor so its meant to be well within its limits but it shouldbe fine.

Yeh, I'll run it I think. I'll try it in practise, and see how warm it gets.
