My First Shell
 

Pleased with how this turned out, the camera on my phone doesn't really do it justice (the red-orange fade is better than it looks here).

Dissapointed I messed up a small section on the side you can't see. It's ok from a distance, but looks a mess close up. Otherwise, I'm pleased with the results for a first time.

I would probably use a lighter colour to bring out the black pin stripes that disappear next to the dark blue next time.

Hey, thats not bad at all for a first attemp. It looks pretty good the colours work well and I quite like the black on to the blue because of the fact it doen't stand out too much!! looking good and keep up the good work. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the comments guys. I have some way to go, but quite chuffed with my first attempt. Lessons learned will be applied to the next one.

That looks cool, nice pin line detailing, good choice of colours, nice and clear on the track, for your first attempt to tick all those boxes I reckon is pretty spot on :thumbsup:
