I need help/advice with my Tamiya Durga.

I have just finished building my Durga, few things I wasnt so impressed with one being the way wishbones pins locate. The dimples the balls locate into didnt seem very deep but figured that it shouldnt be a problem but having taken it out tonight for a quick thrash about my local track (its fitted with a Novak 5800 brushless system) an issue arose.

Basically having caught the rear wheel I found that the rear wishbones popped out, at first I thought I had broken something but having looked at it nothing is broken or bent so how had they come out I can only think the shallow dimples.

So basically has anyone else had this problem and most importantly is there a fix?

I would love to have a thrash with this at club level as it has been a long while since I raced buggies at the Southport track and have every intention of joining the lads at Wrexham for a thrash but not if I have to keep rebuilding it every race.

Thanks in advance

I have had it, no you don't break anything, what you have done is flexed the plastic. I have raced mine after doing it no problems. I would think at some point Tamiya will bring out alloy hangers for the wishbones, but 3Racing got some they are going to bring out too, and as soon as they do, I am getting some.

DURGA DURGA JIHAD:lol::lol::thumbsup:

I think these are ace, i have seen jimmys going at york and batley and to be honest on the track you cannot tell the difference, the car looks so good and easy to drive. Very impressive and IMO a great car to get back into off road!!:thumbsup:
