Great cos I've got a new C4.1 that needs a shake down and also going to have my very first brushless system pushing it along (yes my mighty checkpoint has finally gone to rc heaven!)

newbie track time 20th

My son had some track time 2 week ends ago after racing had finished he did ok I thought didn't crash much and got out of the way for you faster guy's the best he could and was given advice on tyres etc, ( I on the other had a good work out runnig around turning cars back over). would it possible to have more practice tomorrow before racing starts. if it's not possible or you have concerns etc that’s ok just thought I ask. if it's ok what time should we turn up.

lordnikon 19-11-2011 03:28 PM

Doubt there would be a problem with the above. Should be quiet so time between heats to probably. :thumbsup:

There is plenty of practice time before the meeting,if you arrive around 8 then you have a good hour to practice. Should be a quiet on as most are at the MK GP.
What a shame all those people are racing indoors when the weather looks sunny for tomorrow!!!

Excellent day Dan, just what was in order. Nice and relaxed, decent bunch of guys = epic sunday morning :thumbsup:

Track really came in when it dried out and some of the air the 4WD guys get on the double in front of the rostrum is awesome.

jpmatrix 20-11-2011 07:45 PM

Yep, brilliant mornings racing and the weather was a bonus. Tracked dried up nicely resulting in some fast and close racing. Lets hope the weather is kind to us next sunday for the 2nd round of the winter series.

question

glad you all had a great day, we all did at the MKGP.

I have done 2wd at the start of the einer torch series, but want to do 4wd, how does it work regarding points etc, do you have to stick with 2wd or 2wd for the points etc to count or can they be combined ??

cheers........

Dazza/Tartman:thumbsup::confused:

Glad you had a good time. Heard a few stories already.

As regards to points, they are both seperate. So 2wd points you already have would not move over. You have only done one round, so if you go 4wd next week and for the rest of the series that would be the answer.

Dan
