GHEA pistons for indoor carpet?
Shall I bother installing GHEA pistons now? Will I get any effect when racing on indoor carpet, i.e rather smooth surface?
Am I right that the most noticeable effect from tapered pistons is on bumpy tracks? |

Vega B4.
I am yet to see the track for this season, but last year we had medium ply-wood jumps and a couple of bumpy sections made from either frisbies or from gym mats laid like "steps" The venue is school gym hall 100% covered with carpet. |
Iv got Ghea 2 in the rear of my Vega B4 as per Paul Bradby set up I looked at.
They seem good indoors on the matt/wave sections. Worth a try! |
I havent really investigated these before, so I have a couple of questions, hope that's alright to ask them here:
Are these only for use in the rear? Which ones should I use in a B44? Am I likely to need a range of these for indoor and outdoor racing? Thank you, Chris. |
Ghea 1 in rear for smaller smoother jumps and track
Ghea 2 for big bumpier track with larger jumps In theory |
