DEX 210 spur gear
 

Does anyone know if anything else will fit the 210 for spur gears? I find it odd Durango only makes one size. I heard of guys reaming out a Associated spur.

What sizes would people usually get?

Would they be of any benifit in the 410?

Someone told me, Cougar SV spur gears fit like a glove. Can anyone confirm this?

What about the slipper pads? Do I need Cougar parts, too?

I use the RW racing spur gears and the Durango ones can be used in the 410 as well. Using the 83 in the 210 helps so that you do not have to use a big pinions on 6.5 and 7.5 motors on big tracks.

No you don't have to, you can use the one from Durango, actually Durango, Cougar all use the same slipper sizes as AE B4, you may want to give that a try too.

AE pads will fit however the spur hole is too small for the 210. I will try an SV spur.

Just to make it clear, the spur from the SV will fit perfectly, with that, you can use either the original Durango slipper pads or the one from AE. However, the spur from AE will not fit the 210, hope that helps.:)
