Saddle placement on 22

With the trend to turn the saddles round on the 22 is there so much of a difference in the cars handling......before I start cutting the side pods?!

not done it my self but seen it done...

i know you get more space which is a big problem in the 22

Massive difference.. doesn't only make the weight of the spread wider, but also sets it further back. Makes a big difference to the handling of the car, would recommend!

It depends on if your running on dirt or carpet ?
Ive done it but I was running on carpet with realy high bite and it caused the car to really labour through turns other then that it was ok but I went back to inline so I never really liked it..

Does anyone have any pics of their chassis with the cells the other way round? Curious to know what people are using to hold the cells in.... :)

Cheers mate. Looks complicated though, did you notice much improvement over standard handling?

Is here a mounting kit you can buy off he shelf yet?

slipknot666 27-12-2011 08:36 PM

You could buy the atomic carbon tardis conversion or the akula speartooth conversion but both are around the £150 mark. Thinkin of getting one myself

SamRCRacing 27-12-2011 09:47 PM

It sounds complicated but it realy isn't, I noticed the car is easier to drive on low grip. I recomend doing it.
