Making it faster
 

Hi

I'd like to make my HPI E-Firestorm FLUX faster.

What should I upgrade?

Do I need to upgrade the ESC and motor?

Any links to UK websites would be appreciated.

If memory serves me right then the Flux is the brushless version and if you want speed then a 3s lipo is what you need along with a very long road. Should get you into the region of 60mph which is very very rapid.

If you are still running 6 cell Nimh then it might be a good idea to try 2s lipo first.

If you are new to lipo then spend a good few days reading up first.

used a 3s lipo and 24t pinion, stupidly quick now :)
