502x slipper settings

Hi all

need some help with my 502x, i will describe the problem and hope some will understand what i mean,

when i punch the throttle i hear a loud friction noise like my slipper pads are slipping, if i am gentle on the throttle then i dont hear the 'friction' noise.

what should i be looking to change to stop the 'slipping'
loosen the slipper?

Also when landing a big jump and punching the throttle it tends to wheelie(how can i stop this?)

any suggestions welcome.
Thanks in advance,

David

I think the manual says the gap between slipper and the adjuster nut is 5mm. The only time mine made a noise like that was when I replaced my diffs. Tightened up the rear 1/8th of a turn and it was gone.

Try tightening your rear diff quarter of a turn, also if your cars wanting to wheely sounds like your slipper might be too tight. Slacken this off. Hold your car by it's front end, hold the left wheel, put your finger on the spur gear and you then turn the right wheel, in doing this you'll hopefully see the nut on your slipper slipping. If not it's too tight.
