Dear All

I recently noticed that my KO transmitter is reading approx. 0.5/0.6V lower than the actual voltage of the battery pack, consequently meaning that the 9.0V alarm goes off way before the pack is at 9.0V. Has anyone else experianced this? I am sure you can adjust the reading either internally or via the front panel.

You can't adjust the reading.
The 0.5-0.6 volt drop is because of an internal safety diode.
This diode prevent your transmitter to die if you reverse the polarity of the connector.

This is also why you can not apply lipo batteries in your Mars transmitter and use the charger connector with a Lipo charger :-(

You have to either remove the lipo batt every time you want to charge or
remove the safety diode so that you can attach the lipo charger into the charger connector (that's what I did). But it is risky business!
