Losi Mini-8ight takes Debut Win

At this past weekends Micro National at Telford Hot Trax, Losi took a debut win in the hands of Mark Stiles. Mark held off a late push from Phil Sleigh to take the win. The other Losi to make the A Final on the day was myself and I came home in 5th.

All in all the car was very competitive out of the box and with it's release due to the model shops this week it will be interesting to see alot more of the car at the next round of the National Series in December at Dudley

Nice! Would that be Phil 'The Power' Sleigh?

I got my mini8 a few days ago and had a few teething troubles tx and rx wouldn't bind, but rebinding sorting it all out and it's not tracking as straight as i'd like but overall this little car is brilliant!

Quick question for Andy hopefully he'll read this soon. What Lipo's are you running in this and where did you get them? Many thanks

Tommy

The servo isn't very good... Some people have no problems with it and for others it's working really bad.

It also seems to depend on the RX/TX setup.

RTR servos aren't supposed to be quality units, and since we're not paying for top-knotch electronics I don't see how it's even worth mentioning. :bored:

There are quite a few 1500-1800mah Lipo packs out there on the market (losi even sells a suitable pack), so you should be able to locate some with a little looking about. ;)

@kayce

Yeah, but the difference with this RTR is that the stock motor is actually good!
The ESC is somewhat in the middle (don't use 3s tho) and the servo is just bad...
