SR1 & SR1+ Brushless Speed Controllers from Vampire

XFactoryRC UK are now distributing the new SR1 and SR1+ brushless ESC's from Vampire Racing.

http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/misc/news/sr1-2.jpg

Available in the two versions (SR1 and SR1 PLUS), can handle down to 3.5 turn brushless motors (SR1 Plus, 5.5 turn on the SR1) and both models are 1S or 2S LIPO compatible.

The SR1 Series both use Vampire Racing exclusive “PTS – Power Timing System”, providing a distinct advantage over most other brushless systems. Designed as an adaptive system which continually calculates the ideal timing value gained from multiple parameters, resulting in a much improved feel for your car. This not only provides more performance, it especially means that it can handle the massive power of today’s brushless systems better than ever before….
To keep all drivers up to date with what the “Factory Team Works” drivers are using, there will be software updates available to download from the Vampire Racing website. This way you don’t have to worry about buying a new ESC, your SR1 will evolve with you to always give you the latest and maximum performance advantage, all packed neatly into a small footprint size.

Other key features;

· Zero Timing mode (indicated by flashing LED) for stock classes with timing increase allowed

· Easy solder gold plated solder posts

· Ultraflex race spec silicone power wire

· Separate program box available (coming soon)

I used my SR1 + for the first time yesterday and it was ACE.

Everything you'd expect it to be, smooth, powerfull, glitch free, easy to solder and neat to package. I've got the settings I used written down at home which were not far off default which is a great starting point.

VERY happy with them :D

Dan and the programing stuf , it is easy ,like SP,Orion,Xerun?

It is easy, two button and two lights for menu and set. Press and hold one to calibrate to transmitter, press and hold the other to enter the adjustable settings, then scroll through and add 'flashes' to change, easy peasy :D

Ran mine the other day too, I,ve got the SR1 in my X6 and the SR1+ in my X5.
I totally agree with Dan, they are super smooth and deliver bags of power when you want it. :wub

I left mine set as per factory settings and haven't had a good fiddle with them yet, but there are loads of features and Its nice and simple to set up and use.

I'm over the moon with mine:thumbsup:

I'm sorry I don't know how this is going to work, I can only suggest emailing Vampire Racing direct.
