Associated B44.1 Gearing

Hi there what would be a good starting point for a B44.1 using a team orion vst pro 6.5? Using the standard spur gear! Just need to know roughly what pinion sizes to buy!

21 / 22t on a 81 spur would be a good starting point.

Would a 19-20 pinion be about right on a 7.5 ? indoor,quite small carpet/polished surface.
