live video and audio streaming

Ok another question for you pc bod's out there.... i want to do live video and audio streaming through my camera..... anyone know of and cheap/free programs?

some video cameras come with their own software to facilitate this, but the problem that you may encounter is your ISP who often charge big bucks to "live-stream" through their servers.....obviously not a problem if you have your own web server

as for software, try www.videolan.org or take your pick off here
