Both cars are great bashers.
back flips / front flips....
and if setup right they'll even pop wheelies.
lol.

Vinny, without sounding awful i think you should of stayed with the lazer, it really is right up there for beginners, its strong and very easy to drive (allegedly) i think the 2 cars you have said above are full blown racers and probably not the strongest out there, this may lead to you getting really frustrated.:o

You really want to "bash" a 350+ quid car?!?!?!?!?!?! :wtf:

Wouldn't you be better off buying something else to trash? It would seem a bit of a shame to take a piece of kit meant for racing and then drive it around pointlessly? Look at something without the hefty price tag for tearing up the park like a Durga or so which would be a nice racer too...

In other words please don't take a car that has had very carefull developement to make it as fast as possible around a track and waste it bombing it around busting it...

vinny20 22-02-2008 05:24 PM

not exactly basher proof i mean the breaking i dont want one thats gonna break esily and that is loyal

Lee 22-02-2008 05:27 PM

Why did you sell the lazer?

vinny20 22-02-2008 05:38 PM

because there are some realy sweet cars coming 2 the market and i fancy a change so i was looking at the aero and serpent

G, I think he means he wants a tough car that will be reliable.

I vote Aero

Lee 22-02-2008 06:31 PM

Vinny, i really dont think these 2 cars are right for a beginner, they will be fantastic in the right hands but as i said before they probably wont be the strongest cars, i hear the tamiya is a very strong car and they seem to work ok, and they look bling straight out of the box;)

Used to run a Traxxas TRX3, I'm pretty certain it would survive nuclear holocaust in one piece, never broke a single thing in 2 years of racing it!! If traxxas ares till like that its a good choice.

I have an Aero coming, but at that price I'm planning to use it sparingly and sorrounded by padding :D

DCM 22-02-2008 06:45 PM

these cars aren't made for bashing and probably wont take the rigours of being 'bashed' dude, beginner or not.

And chill dude.

PaulRotheram 22-02-2008 06:47 PM

Hot Bodies D4 is right up there in a reliability department, I've raced mine for about 4 months and only broken a wishbone and caster block, both very harsh accidents.

Spares are a good price, and the car is a dream to drive. This season will see a big backing of the D4 with alot of drivers using it and Mirage expanding their team will be a great resource for the upcoming season.
