I use mainly Tamiya wheels. They are very good quality, very stiff. I also use Losi wheels, they are far more flexible. I don't think Associated have the right off-set. They bind up.

B44 fronts have too deep hex and rub on the hub. I've assumed rears are right, I've been using them without issue but never put it in a 'box'.

You can use B44 rims on the front if you space them .5mm. That should take care of them rubbing on the hubs.

Yeah, a few of non-Tamiya rims rub, use a spacer, or just use Tamiya rims. They're very nice.

And we stock them in 4 colours!! White, yellow, pink and now black!

How abaout the Jconsepts rulux wheels?

GRIFF55 29-10-2011 02:56 AM

These need to be spaced also mate. Best ones for 511 are the factory rims or losi, all I ever used.

I also know Shcumacher wheels fit if you don't use a hex on the fronts, but seem to be very weak compared to the Tamiya ones.

Funnily enough, the Tamiya wheels are the best fit. ;)

Thanks!!

Reason for all the fuss is that Tamiya importer here in Norway went under from the economics crises, so Tamiya are almoast non existant here. So i am trying to find out what would work localy :-)

Hi, We're always shipping to mainland Europe and have loads of Tamiya wheels in stock.

Drop me or Simon (above) an email to [email protected] and we'll happily quote to send you out loads of shiny round things!

Cheers

Mark

Losi 22 front wheels fit straight on, I use them all the time.
