Grease included in 210 kit

Hi Guys Halfway through build just wanted to find out what Grease is in the kit. the manual list 3 pots the silicon for the diff , Gear Grease in the Green Pot and Moly Gease used for the Diff thrust Race.

I have only 2 pots 1 is silicon the other in a pot thats got a slight tint of green in the plastic but the grease looks like Moly Grease so i'm now confused as to what to use in what. I've used it as Gearbox and Moly don't know if this is right or wrong

Also their was no Thread lock in this kit, is this normal I got some with my 410R just thourght this was a little strange as its not listed in the Not included section but list Differntial Grease  did not think that we used this in this kit.

I have asked Durango but not had a response (bet their snowed under with stupid questions from idets like me :woot:)
just wanted to find out what others have done

cheers Guys

I bought two kits. One had all three pots and one was missing the gear grease.

Oh well makes no odds to me as I've got enough grease and so forth. Used nuclear RC diff greases for the diff :)

The 210 only comes with the black grease and the clear silicone grease - you should use the black grease on the gears if you want to lube them.

My kit came with a white pot (clear) and a green pot( black grease). No thread lock in the box as listed in the manual. Also there is suppose to be a black pot according to my manual for the diff?? just used some AE black grease.

Thanks for the responce guys
looking like 2 pots and no thread lock for every one is the clear winner

just wish they had got the manual right (or is that wrong to match whats in the box):woot:

it's so nice to know that i'm not alone :D

Two pots for me to and no thread lock.

The included pots of grease are not explained very well at all. I initially put the clear grease in my diff but thought better of it.

The clear silicone grease is for the main diff balls/ plates, and the black is for the thrust race.

That's how it normally is and the way I used them (had my own thread lock) :)

This seemed obvious as per any other diff, but the consistency was like nothing I've seen for a diff grease so opted to use something else.
