Futaba 3GR 2.4G SS compatable receivers.

Does anyone know of compatable receivers for a Futaba 3GR 2.4G SS

I know the Futaba R603FF which is very expensive...
but what others ?

When I checked about six months ago only the Futaba receivers are compatible, thanks to fasst...

check out giant cod RC
they do some aero FASST compatible rx dont know if surface is different tho we have a club racer who uses an 6 channel aero tx with axis disabled has no issues

maybe be worth a look

The joys of Futaba, there are no other compatible receivers

Politely i beg to differ seeing as they are available on the internet, with varying success rates from outstanding to poor I havent used them flying myself as i still use mostly 35mhz FM .but am looking to try out soon as i have just purchased a genuine futaba module and rx and am realising even 2nd hand there not cheap (no attack on futaba at all as quality never is ) occasionaly you can economise with out compromise )

regards dave

There may be another way....

***CLICKY***

I have one, have paired it perfectly with my 3PK with futaba module, so far so good...just need to use it for a race night to see if it's really ok...but the signs are good so far

I can confirm these work very well with my 3vcs and Futaba FASST module. Have been using it for a few weeks now with no issues what so ever. I have also coiled one of the aerials inside the case to tidy things up a little too, with no loss of signal at all.

+1 for Giantcod.
I ordered one of these Frsky TFR4 receivers from Giantcod £23.53 plus £2.53 insured delivery, arrived next day! Tiny! Havn't had chance to use yet but only read good reports. Much cheapness... Yummy

tried a FRSKY TFR8... and it wouldn't pair with the Futaba 3GR 2.4G SS...

hence the question

If I hadn't just bought a 2nd R603 receiver for my 2wd I would buy one of the FrSky ones. I'm not struggling for space in the cars at the moment and the new shells will give more room again.

there must be someone making compatible recievers

The Frsky TFR4 receivers should work with the 3gr, they do with the 3vcs which uses Futaba 603ff and/or 603fs receivers originally.
