X2C and MM

Can i simply buy an X2C chassis and transfer all my monkey bits over onto it ?? I want the narrower chassis, and as i now run saddle packs exclusively it makes sense to swap

Looking at the manual for both, the key parts that attach to the chassis are the same part number (front and rear chassis plate).

The front upper parts (Upper Suspension Arm Holder and Front brace mount) are different numbers but I think they are the same parts.

So I'd say yes. It will make getting hold of clear shells much easier too.

you should only need the chassis & bodyshell. everything else is interchangable.

Chassis, shell and a battery strap... Job done

Robbiejuk 25-10-2011 03:57 PM

I hope the battery strap has come down in price then :(

Cheers guys. Going to get a full kit and sell on the parts i dont end up using from the monkey/X2c. Will work out alittle cheaper i think in the long run, plus i can keep all spares i want

gordy 25-10-2011 06:24 PM

i was thinking of doing the same thing but cant find a uk shop with the parts in stock

lordnikon 25-10-2011 07:02 PM

There are afew, i managed to find the chassis, battery plate (carbon one) and the shell all seperately, but worked out about £70ish with P&P from 3 different shops ! can get a whole kit for £134 i think is the cheapeast i have seen it

gordy 25-10-2011 07:07 PM

yep that's to steep for a chassis and shell
ideally id like a second hand x2c maybe with some mods

lordnikon 25-10-2011 07:21 PM

Yeah agreed, with a monkey, rat and soon to be SC truck too the spares will come in handy from the extra kit i have left over so cant lose in my situation i think. Just need to find someone who will do alittle deal on £300+ of sale  lol

Seen a couple come up on here in the for sale section, not often though
