SC10 - SCX60 Astro Setup Tips

Any specific AE SC10/X-Factory SCX-60 suggestions for a good astroturf setup?

I'm coming from a setup which worked well on a loosy clay, 1/8 track with large swoops and few sharp corners.
That same setup on a tight astro track is far from ideal. ( movie of the track http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1mRhUplyzw )

So far I've figured out the following (with help of friends and rc enthusiasts)

- Stiffer springs
- heavier shock oil
- lower ride height

what more? Bit of a newcomer :)

any tips for anti-squat; camber; toe in/out that would help a 2WD SCT to turn better at low speed; at high speed truck goes where I want it to; at low speeds heavy understeer (partly due to sucky tyres... schumacher SC tyres ordered)

thanks for any and all replies :woot:

als je nu weinig grip heb zou ik niet harder gaan veren Fahrvergnügen, iets van 30 gramm op de Fahrvergnügen servo plakken, goede bandjes en dan nog eens kijken. maar dat zou iemand van "the Fahrvergnügen family" toch wel moeten weten :p

wlke 7.5 heb je? kan nets iets te zijn om grip voor te houden

Seriuosly, stiffer, lower and you wont be too far away.....

Currently a 8.5T ezrun esc and sensorless motor which has a broken bearing, very noisy but it runs still quickly; I can give full tilt on the straights and reach top speed; so it's geared OK and after 5min motor is 70-80°C; if the ball bearing was not broken it would temp lower.
I've a Speed Passion 7.5T on order to get with Xezrun;

Thanks for the input Darren; you also suggest putting weights in front? With the mid motor layout of the SCX-60 I do find it quite balanced front<>back; have 5grams on the front bumper now; front tyres Proline Sniper; but to be swapped to Schumacher Spikes (need to cut the outer row of spikes?)

:wtf::wtf::wtf:

All that was missing from that was a couple of random Fahrvergnügen(s)

Google Translate does an ok job

f you now I would not hold much harder springs, something like 30 gramm stick to the servo, good bands and then look again. but that would be one of "the family" surely must know

7.5 what do you have? nets may be something to grip to keep
:D
