hey stumpiey. Ive been looking at a shell for my mad monkey and the only thing that apparently comes close to fitting (not my experience, from another member i think) is the Proline Bulldog for the associated b4 with a section cut out the back. How ever (also not my own experience) The shell is too thin for the monkey chassis, but being the x2c with the narrower chassis than the monkey, there is a chance it may fit. Hope this helps.

http://www.apexmodels.com/gbu0-prodshow/PL3342-00.html its out of stock at apex in the link but im sure you can find it somewhere else.

I've tried the bulldog cut up for the X2C and it is to wide, seems to fill into the middle of the MM and X2C dimensions !

Any other ideas on what shells might work ??

don't camtek do the old tamiya astute shell wounder if that would fit i always liked that shell
having said that i like the stock x2c shell

i have a couple of B4 shells and the X2C is to wide at the front part of the chassis for them, i would like a cab forward one for it

iv had no experience of cab forward shells do they make that much difference to handling?

stumpiey 02-11-2011 08:26 PM

to be honest, i have no idea, i just like the look of them:D

gordy 02-11-2011 08:35 PM

lol ok cool. im sure it must do somethin to the handling just not sure what i suppose in theory it must act like a front ish wing and give more steering i think

stumpiey 02-11-2011 08:45 PM

for me, it's the case of more room above the speedo as i dont like things to claustrophobic around my electrics

gordy 02-11-2011 08:51 PM

you could always make your own i take it you've seen the coke bottle acting like heat shrink over a former thing

Cab Forwards shells do have an impact on handling they offer more steering and grip on different tracks
