Just needs a little finishing but my fingers are sore. Built this and my 210 in 24hrs. When I close my eyes all I can see is pages in a manual and clear bags full of small parts.

Nice!!

No looking back now mate!!

Im sure you'll get a buyer for the Durango! :p

We'll see matey. Just a quickie, my front shocks appear to rub on the camber link in the book positions. I could change the ball stud position or space the shocks. What do you recommend?

Sime put a 2mm spacer on the shock towers behind the shocks that's what myself & other's did on the old FS2 so assume this will be the same?

budfish 22-10-2011 07:32 PM

Put a 1mm plastic spacer behind the top shock bushings that's what I've done to mine

njc11 22-10-2011 07:41 PM

2mm with the big bores ..

sime46 22-10-2011 07:56 PM

Thanks all. Will do.

tisher 22-10-2011 08:22 PM

so whats the difference than the fs2 apart for different colour alloy bits and shocks that don't fit straight out of the box:yawn:

njc11 22-10-2011 08:37 PM

Colour, Big Bores, Ally Battery Posts, New rear cvd's, new rear hubs over FS2, different rear wing, carbide diff and thrust balls.

I would say the most complete 4wd money can buy..

The only options you would buy are the ally rear hubs and to be honest im supprised they didnt include them. These are stronger and offer more rear link positions.

Looking through the instructions they have changed the build and altered alot of the settings..

The only part in the pipe line due out is LAW43... slightly different rear arms with ally suspension bracket which will further enhance the cars tuneability...

not that much then:p most people use ceramic balls anyway so not that much to make it a better car I thought they where going to use carbon fibre top decks and change shock towers etc to align the big bore up better. I am a little disappointed really because I was going to get one after owning the fs. I will just stick to my old zx5 for now until they bring something new out. although as its an fs its still a quility car;)

Can you give the part numbers for the new CVD's and hubs?

RogerM 26-10-2011 07:02 AM

They are actually older parts that have reappeared ... as Nick says we've both run them (or equivelents) for a while

Hubs are UM519

driveshafts UM510

No need for ceramics if you have Kyosho's carbide balls fitted. Kyosho diffs last AGES

Nick 26-10-2011 08:17 AM

Nice car but think the pit mat is the best bit

Ry that's a terrible attitude:thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown:

I'm sure nick"the diff"Caro wouldn't agree with you

The Tungsten balls are great, you wont need to change for a long time.

traffman 27-10-2011 12:33 PM

I purchased the uprated tungsten carbide diff balls for my rear diff on my fs2.

It has made a fantastic difference , mind you at 18 quid they better make a difference!

UNO-RC 27-10-2011 05:53 PM
