M60 J21 closed until 24th October(?)

Hi all,
My uncle works in the area and has told me the junction here is closed at the moment. Not sure if anybody will have difficulty finding the track tomorrow due to this.

I'll perhaps use A627M and get to it from the North side.

Yes Chris, The M60 junction 21 and 22 are currently closed meaning if you normally use the M60 South to get to Chadderton you will have top go down to Junction 23 - Ashton Under Lyne, turn around and drive back North bound at 40 mph!

My suggestion is to go towards Leeds on the M62 and take the M627, follow this right to the end and you will eventually recognise the traffic lights for the school, turn right and you are there!

Cheers for the heads up fellas, probably come off ashton then head towards Oldham, should be ok at that time. The M62 option Damian suggested is quite a bit further (if coming from Stockport direction) but more predictable I guess...

If coming past the pyramid at stockport heading towards chadderton you can still leave the motorway at Junc 21??

I went this way this morning when going to set the track up?

Heading home you couldnt get on at Junc 21 (heading back towards stockport) but if you follow the small diversion you can get on at Junc 22..

If your unsure about 21, if you come off at Junc 22... at the traffic lights go straight on over the Junction you will then come to the same lights where you turn right if you came of at 21.

Hope this makes sense!

:)

Im going the way Damo suggested, only because I know the way. See you in the morning!!

Yep, its only if your going south on the M60 that you will find you can't get off at J21 or J22.
