Yes, the Tamiya trf axles fit the bx! The outdrives, I don't know... I like the Yokomo outdrives better than the tamiya, the diff.ring and the outdrives on the yokomo are fitted so much better together:-)

The pins on the trf-axles are a little bit smaller in dia...

Associated B4 CVDs are a direct fit, but you have to use B4 hubs too because the Yok bearings are metric. To use the B4 hubs you need to drill out the hinge pin hole in the arm, the B4 uses thicker hinge pins.

If you want or need to save the outdrives, you can take them to a machine shop and have them mill new slots 90* off from the original slots.

Direct fit? Ho ho... Well well... ;-)

Relatively direct fit. For the original MR-4BX (2 piece chassis) or Factory (one piece chassis) changing to the B4 hubs and CVDs was an incredible mod. The car felt so much more connected with the CVDs, and the car squared up a lot quicker too. With the tall B4 hub you didn't need to run the upside down camber plate mod any longer. I bet there are still pics on this site somewhere.
