Lazer for Indoor racing
Does the Lazer ZX5 take stick packs?
Im looking for a 4wd car for indoor racing currently most guys are using durango's and b44.1s at the club but i fancy something a bit different! |
It depends which model you want.
All the FS/FS2 run saddle, but the ZX5 SP older models all ran stick packs. Hope that helps |
can the ZX5 take a brushless?
|
Hi yes I have a standard zx-5 which I use indoors, it was a ready set but converted most of it to aluminium, carbon hop ups etc & with a bit of dremel work takes lipos no problem - I run a full brushless system and its great - it will be a while before I can out perform the car with my talents!

here's a vid of mine the other week an old zx5 alloy hopups running a 6.5 and 5200 lipos its the luminous yellow one with the cab forward shell but we run metal diffs in them as we were going through them for fun

the old zx5s still can be competitive I think I ended up second in that race:thumbsup:they are very good cars but its not as good as my fs I raced in our clubs first series I was nearly a second quicker with it and miles quicker outside. But I found the fs a bit boring to drive |
