Heard about the crash as I went to bed last night. Hoped he would be ok but it was gutting to wake up to this horrible news. RIP Dan

Very sad news when I saw this last night as 20 years ago I knew Dan as we both raced Fullerton karts and you couldnt meet a more helpful young racer who was on his way to the top.

Such a shame, he was an incredible talent and having seen him at Goodwood this year, just seemed such a genuine guy with a huge grin on his face all day....

He has left two young kids behind too, thoughts go out to all his family - RIP Dan!

Nope, but I always listen to the news on the way to work. Only time. iPod rest of the time

Radio in my view is pretty shite these days anyway. Rabbling on about general crap.

Anyway doesn't matter where I heard it, my thoughts are more about RIP and his family.

Watched it unfold live last night whilst waiting for MotoGP to start. Knew it was serious for Dan as his car was covered with a yellow tarpaulin :(

Watched it unfold live last night, then spent 90 minutes waiting for good news that to be honest I didn't expect, still a shock when the worst was confirmed though. RIP Dan Weldon.
