Is it safe to run without a fan on speedo??

HI,
running a Speed Passion GT2 pro, with a 7.5 / 6.5 on a cougar, is it safe to run without a fan??? Big thanks in advance.

I had a 7.5 in my SV and ran a SP GT LPF with no fan and no probs.

Probably, but it still comes down to the gearing you're running and what kind of temps you register. A fan is really just a safety measure and/or bandaid some people rely on because they think it's going to save a ESC, but if it's overtaxed you could strap a house fan to it and it'd still burn up. ;)

It should be fine. You could run it with the overheat protection on and it thermal if it gets to hot.
