Schumacher Short Course tyres

Schumacher have release their new Short Course tyres in both mini spike and mini pin designs. Available in both blue (hard) and the very popular yellow compounds, these new tyres should be a BIG hit on European SC tracks.

Schumacher:
Schumacher make the first foray into the Short Course Tyre market with these excellent Mini Spike and Mini Pin examples!

Classic Schumacher tyre designs generated from years of experience and race winning!

Firstly the Mini Spike, highly suitable for Grass, Astro, Carpet and general use. Less aggressive than the Mini Pin but with excellent grip.

Available in two compounds, Blue - Hard & Yellow - Soft.
Supplied in pairs without inserts.
We recommend a firm insert.

U6769 - Short Course Tyre - Mini Spike - Blue
U6766 - Short Course Tyre - Mini Spike - Yellow

A great tyre for Astro and Carpet. Available in Blue - Hard and Yellow - Soft compounds.

This tyre has maximum traction and aggression. To tune the car it may be required to trim some pins from the front tyres for less bite, or try Blue front, Yellow rear.

Supplied in pairs without inserts.
We recommend a firm insert.

Superb news - so who's going to be stocking them?

MHeadling 14-10-2011 09:00 AM

Already on our shop website for pre-order ;)

I'll be stocking them. Hopefully the Telstar Racing SC regulars will start using them. It'll help them maintain the weaving down the straight for longer :p

simoncrabb 19-10-2011 06:41 PM

Would these fit classic truck rims (T4)?

Tried to fit buggy tires on truck rims, didn't work out well...

(MiniSpike for astro turf)

MHeadling 21-10-2011 09:02 AM

Im afraid not Shy, as the inner and outer wall are different sizes, 2.2 and 3" I believe.

Schumacher do the mini spike for the T4 so these will be fine, but no mini pins to my knowledge.

All the tyres that fit T4, XXX-T etc, I used staggers and yellow mini spikes on my truck, worked a treat indoors and outdoors.
