MK 1 Focus clutch Pedal gone heavy

Got a Focus 1.8 petrol that has done 98k on the clutch, I have notice that the pedal is really heavy, but the clutch is not slipping. Not Sure if it a clutch cylinder or a vacuum pipe causing the problem any ideas?

If its vacuum assisted hydrolic system it could be the little vacuum hose.

i don't know the system in that car at all but it's worth checking the hosing.

if it's the cilinder, master or slave i'd say you'd loose clutch action rather then it going heavy.

vaccum is only used for brake assistance NOT clutches

i have worked for ford for near 20 years and you need a new clutch......
